Welcome to Woodland Welsh Terriers! We take great pride in our high quality Welsh Terriers. We are fortunate to have our dogs selected by a show judge based on conformation, health, and temperament. Our dogs have champion backgrounds and are all registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC). We do official health screenings including patella certifications with the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) as well as OFA cardiac certifications. Our dogs are full of the characteristic feisty Terrier spunk and energy that Welsh Terriers are known for.
We have a great admiration for the Terrier breeds. Teri grew up with Airedale Terriers which is what lead to our passion for the Welsh Terriers. We attend several seminars each year regarding all aspects of raising quality puppies to continually improve our breeding program. We work very closely with our veterinarian to ensure our dogs and puppies are healthy and have the best care possible.
We are fortunate to work from our home which also allows us to be available to our dogs at all times. We live in the lakes country of central Minnesota on a beautiful 60-acre wooded estate filled with groomed walking trails. Our dogs are provided with the best in comfort and care. We have a large private addition to our home that was specifically planned for caring for our dogs and puppies, including a grooming room and nursery area. We have put a lot of time, effort and expense into our breeding program; but the main factor is our love and dedication to our Welsh Terriers!
